June 22, 2008 - We are going home

It's now been 5 weeks with no power or water. And the diseases are spreading. A little boy in our church nearly died of Typhoid. His mother is a teacher here and they had to race him to a hospital in Baguio. He nearly died. it was horrible. Anyway, with things getting worse here, we prayed and counseled with our pastor and family and friends and feel it is time for us to leave. We do not want to go through what we went through with Sean and the Dengue Fever... we bought our tickets and our flight leaves July 2!!!! We hope to leave until the rains are gone and everything blows over and then we will return to rebuild and repair everything..
