March 20, 2009 - Piano Recital

It is just amazing to see these young people...playing the piano! If only you knew how we found them, what they have overcome in their lives and how the Lord is using them. I just cried like a baby tonight to see them serving the Lord and stepping WAY out of their comfort zones. Especially Joanna, pictured with me below..she lives in a kubo ( hut) and it seems that she would not have many opportunities in life..but the Lord has completely turned her life around. We led her to the Lord 5 years ago...in a hospital room where her brother ( my Bible club student) was on his death bed. The Lord not only healed her little brother ( who now TEACHES in the Bible Club) but He has turned Joanna from a nobody into a somebody who is doing more for the Lord than most Christians who have been saved their whole life! Just watching her play the piano there tonight..my mind wandered back to that dirty hospital room and how I have truly witnessed a miracle.
