Today everything is on red alert here...alot of scared people, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned. I guess I am semi-used to all the terrorist attacks that have hit here over the years, but each new one seems to make me a little more conscience, a little more nervous as I always wonder what lies beyond each bend.
A bomb ripped through one of my favorite shopping centers, Glorietta 2. It is one of the nicest malls in all of Manila, and when we have to go have immigration work done, we always go there to just walk around and get things that we can't get here. For instance, they have shaved ham! Sean LOVES shaved ham and sometimes we run in there just to get the shaved ham for him. It is the only place in the whole Philippine Islands that has it!
Anyway, we were just there...walking around. Ferd and I also spend our 10 year anniversary in Makati where we went specifically to Glorietta to walk around and eat a nice lunch... I praise God for His protection... but my heart just breaks for those families that were involved.
