Above is a picture Sean took a few weeks ago, before my classroom had walls. It was all open and loud. I could hardly teach with all the commotion from the other classes. Now, I have a 2 new walls and 2 doors! I will try to remember my camera today when I go to the church so I can take a picture.
Today I spent the whole day decorating my new walls. I had a lady donate a nice Noah's Ark scene that I put up on the new wall. It looks so nice!
The bad part about today was when I came home tonight, and was getting ready for bed and putting on my pajamas...I noticed something black under my armpit area. It was a TICK! Who knows how long that thing was sucking on me...all day maybe. I was able to get it off, and spent along time trying to research on the internet about ticks in the Philippines. I can't find anything that tells about the diseases they carry here. So, I am very worried...more about not knowing, than if I knew. Becuase at least when you know what diseases they have here, you can look out for specific symptoms and treat it quickly. So, I just hope they are harmless critters here and don't carry Lyme's disease or Rocky Mountain Fever like in the States!
