oh my, where has the time gone? I havent written in a while , due to the very hectic week this week. I will be able to share more about it tomorrow, but for now...jsut want to catch up. First of all, I have been busy in a good way...THE SHIPMENT ARRIVED, yea!!!! Pictured above is Sean as the boxes were rolling in off the truck. We recieved 11 in all, which is amazing how many people love us! ( We love you all too!!!) I am busy unloading and unpacking and seperating what stays at the house and what goes to the church. I always cry, every time. It never fails. When I see all that familiar stuff again, I get emotional. Sean, on the other hand, wants to eat everything immediately. " Oh, brownies...let's make them now.....Oh, macaroni and cheese, can I have some?...oh, pizza, can I help you bake it ?" Needless to say, it is a VERY happy place here right now.
In the middle of all that "happy- busy", we have some very "stressful -busy". We have been working hard for several weeks to prepare for tonight. It is the Big Bolosan Fiesta Night where everyone sets up tables and the whole street is full of thousands of people. There will be games, food and lots of exciting things going on. Our church doesn't want to waste the opportunity, so we are setting up a table too! We are having a fish-fry where we will be giving out fish with Gospel tracts, John and Romans Bibles, and salvation pamphlets. Our people took up 2 offerings to buy the fish and other food items, so that we can give it out for free.
We were all at the church till 11pm last night after the Prayer Meeting, getting all the tracts, literature, etc ready. Putting our church labels on everything...Today, we are focusing on the food. We are excited to feed the people of Bolosan in more ways than one tonight! More pics and details tomorrow....
