Sean starts school again in 2 weeks, so we decided that if we wanted to take some "us" time, we better do it now. We packed up our bags and headed down south to Taal. We decided to visit Taal Lake and Volcano. It was really a beautiful view. Local fishermen take you out on boats to the volcano and you can ride donkeys to the top. Above is Sean , overlooking the Lake and the Volcano. We had a nice relaxing time and it was a much needed break for our family.
Our "hotel" was one that we will never forget. It was horrible and rat infested and we didn't sleep at all. You should have seen us. Ferd had the bed flipped over, trying to kill them, Sean and I were on top of tables and we were screaming like crazy.
