I was out of it most of this week...Sick as a dog...I missed the Prayer Meeting on Wednesday, Teen Night on Friday, and Visitation on Saturday!!! I have never done that before!!! But I was just so sick and dragging all week. I am glad that I took time to recover, so that I could make it to church on Sunday. I am doing much better, though still suffering from the head cold.
Sean sang a solo number today, which I wouldnt have missed for the world, sick or not. He did GREAT. He sang " I Love You Lord", a Patch the Pirate song, which he LOVES Patch. He listens to those CD's over and over.
I love my Primary Class that I teach on Sundays and I just couldnt miss that. I have about 15, and they are a handful...lots of fun. There is one boy who really was a challenge. He comes from a very rough home life and he was just plain wild. I mean, worse than an animal. I was tempted many times to kick him out and either put him in the nursery or make him go home, as he was out of control. But I prayed and God just gave me a patience and I have really been working with him. Now, he is sitting and even answering my questions after the story. He still gets very noisy, and over anxious during snack time ( probably becuase he is VERY hungry) but He just needs love and attention and he has really opened up to me. I may be the first one who has ever shown love to him.
