I'm finally feeling back to normal, physically... Still emotionally tore up at times, over the house situation and heavy rains. Above is me holding an umbrella INSIDE the house, trying to stop the waters from destroying my stuff....Well, We talked to the landlord, and naturally, there is no desire to fix it. So, Ferd crawled up on our roof and thinks that he can attempt to fix it. At least the big holes for now. Of course, this will come out of our pocket and not the landlord's! It is so frustrating at times. But, the Lord knows that need, and we are looking for Him to move in a special way...either to find us a safer home... or allow us to continue to repair this old house, which isnt even ours...
Over the past 2 years..We have already repaired all the holes inside the house , to stop the rats from coming in ( they still find ways)... We have added toilets and sewer lines, where there were none... Fixed all the floors and painted all the rooms. All out of our own pocket.. there is a point where we have to stop, but each day there are new problems. We have to live, but can't continue to pour money into something that is not ours. We are teaching our people to be content with what God has given them, and so we are trying to practice what we preach.....It's hard, and We are just praying!!!
