The whole day, Sean remained at 98-99 degrees. The final blood test revealed that his blood had risen to 150,000 platelets and he was officially healing. By 6pm, he was still fever free, and the doctor came in and told us that we were discharged and free to go. Sean needed lots of bed rest. We were released Tuesday night, where we decided to get a hotel for a few days. We were too scared to go home to the mosquito infested house, and if Sean relapsed, we didnt want to be far from the hospital. So, we allowed him to recover for 3 days in a hotel.
While they were wheeling Sean out of the hospital, we saw 2 parents crying as their son was being wheeled to ICU. He was bleeding out his ears, nose and mouth.
My heart broke...becuase that could have been me and Ferd. Instead, the Lord graciously chose to heal our son. Oh, Lord Almighty! THANK YOU!!!
